Neuroscience Interests: Hi! My name is Abhi Kodali, and I am currently the President of External Affairs for Nu Rho Psi. I am a 4th year Neuroscience major and Stats minor. I am also in the Hirsh Lab at UVA, currently researching dopamine’s role in olfactory sensitivity. When I'm not in class, I like going on long walks, shopping, listening to music, and trying new foods. I'm excited to meet everyone this year!

Neuroscience Interests: I am majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in English. I love studying animal behavior and neurodegeneration. At the Brodie Lab, I am currently studying how abiotic factors, such as water availability, affect the Selfish Herd Theory, usually known to be caused by predation risk, in dairy cow isopods (Porcellio scaber). Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, writing, doodling, playing the guitar, and working out!

Neuroscience Interests: I’m a third year majoring in Neuroscience, also pursuing an IMP. I am interested in clinical neuroscience, neuroendocrinology, and narrative neuroscience, and channel these interests at a neuroscience lab that is focused on understanding the interplay of hormones/pharmacologic interventions on bone density. Outside of research, I am involved in the Virginia Journal of Bioethics, Sikh Student Association, Peer Health Educators. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing calligraphy, and playing the dilruba.

I work in the Brandebura Lab exploring astrocytes’ role in neuroinflammation and how their pathways are altered in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.Outside of academics, I love photography and videography, swimming, and spending time outside hiking.
