Thank you for your interest in joining our chapter. Applications to our organization are accepted at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. The following are requirements listed by the national branch of Nu Rho Psi for membership in local chapters:

• Major, minor, other emphasis in Neuroscience

• Completion of at least 3 semesters of the College course

• Completion of at least 9 semester hours of Neuroscience-related courses

• Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 and a minimum GPA of 3.5 in Neuroscience courses

Membership Status and Point System

This year our executive board has decided to implement a point system to track active membership. You need a minimum of 5 points each semester to be considered an “active” member and therefore be eligible to run for executive board. Examples of how to earn points include:

• GBM: 1 pt

• Guest Speaker: 2 pts

• Dinner Series: 2 pts

• Social/volunteering events: 1 pt

• Nu Rho Psi Field Trip (Spring 2024): 3 pts
